Book Release: The Way I Sea It by Chef Desmond Fannin

Why not? That’s the question I asked myself, ending my wrestling over whether or not to pursue becoming an author.   I decided to stall no longer on a dream that I’ve possessed for a few years and write my first cookbook published by A New Day Books Publishing.

The book entitled, “The Way I Sea It: A Collection of 30 Easy Recipes for the Seafood Lover”, will launch on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Drexina Nelson Photography/ DNProductions, LLC., 781 Wheeler Street Studio 12, Atlanta, GA 30318 from 6pm-10pm. During the launch, I will autograph books and perform a cooking demo for one of the recipes from The Way I Sea It; Pinot Grigio Shrimp Scampi.

My goal was to create a small, manageable cookbook of which each recipe can be attempted at least once. I choose to do my first publication on seafood as I personally like it and find it relatively easy to prepare – however, I do not claim to be an expert on seafood.

Chef Desmond Fannin is a District Executive Chef for Sodexo. He was selected by French-based Sodexo as one of only two American Chefs to represent the US at the 2007 Rugby World Cup in Paris and has provided food services for former Presidents, celebrities, and numerous charity organizations including C.H.O.I.C.E.S..
