Hey guys, Lisa here again! I've been bad with my PALA updates (so sorry), but I have not forgotten to fit exercise into my schedule. In fact I've been focusing on fun ways to stay active this summer, that don't involve going to the gym. My favorite activity so far… laser tag! Laser tag is a great activity for the whole family, and it's indoors so you always have the opportunity to play no matter how hot it is outside. Although the arena where I tag has rules to prevent running, you are constantly moving, your heart rate is rising, and you will definitely work up a sweat. Other fun ways I've found to sneak in some exercise are: walking my two very active pups, bowling, swimming, and dancing my way through household chores.
I've been able to keep up with my personal nutrition goal of taking a daily multi-vitamin and added two more nutrition goals since my last post. First, I got my husband on board and we started eating out less; and now I've set a new goal to increase my daily water consumption (not so hard considering how hot it's been).
