April 21 – 29 is National Park Week. This week you can visit any of the country's national parks for free! It's a great way to get the whole family together for a hike, healthy picnic, and great family photos.
At Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, kids have the opportunity to learn all about our national parks and earn a Junior Ranger badge and certificate. It's a great way for kids to learn about all of the plants and wildlife in the park, park safety, and how to protect our environment.
Choose a park activity this week with the family and keep moving! Learn more about National Park Week at http://www.nationalparks.org/national-park-week-2012 and share photos and videos from your park adventure.
