The 1st Annual Children's Nutrition Education and Physical Activity Expo was a CHOICES community event presented by The Georgia PTA - Cherokee Council, The Cherokee County Health Department, The Cherokee Recreation Center and The Cherokee Tennis Center.  It was truly a family affair with some of the most awesome performances by World of Kids, BodyPlex Fitness Adventure and of course the real stars...children who came and participated in the skill based obstacle course!  And, let us not forget to thank Maggie The Mayfield Cow for lending her presence and World of Gymnastics for providing the colorful inflatable to keep us active outdoors!  

What a great day, especially as seen through the eyes of Dr. Michael Seward, an emergency room physician that donated his photography expertise the entire day, through his company Imagination Nation!  Dr. Seward also spent hours taking family portraits with The Veggie Band characters designed and constructed by Gregory Lennox and Robert Barrett. The Children's Nutrition Education and Physical Activity Expo wouldn't have been possible without the students of Etowah High School, members of Allen Temple AME Church, CHOICES parents, World of Gymnastics performers, BodyPlex Fitness Adventure trainers and professionals like Dr. Michael Seward.
